Still, some auto writers say that the XTS Vsport should be significantly quicker than the base XTS. “That kind of power boost should make for quite an improvement in the all-wheel-drive XTS’s 0–60 time, which we’ve clocked at 7.2 seconds,” Car and Driver reports.

2014 Cadillac XTS Platinum (General Motors)

The redesigned 2014 CTS will also offer this new twin-turbo V6 as an option, though it will make 10 more horsepower than the twin-turbo-equipped XTS. Hampden Tener, Cadillac product director, said in an interview at the 2013 New York Auto Show that Cadillac wanted to up the ante of the CTS’ performance with the new twin-turbo V6. “We knew we needed one that would deliver this kind of thrilling, exciting performance, so we started developing the twin-turbo V6 to fill that roll,” Tener said.
For 2014, the all-wheel drive XTS Vsport model will only be sold in the highest Premium and Platinum trims. In addition to the new twin-turbo V6 engine, which is mated to a six-speed automatic, the Vsport model will look different than the base XTS. Autoweek writes, “Exterior goodies include upgraded 20-inch wheels, a unique grille and Vsport badging all while allowing the buyer to customize their XTS to their taste.”
Cadillac says in a statement that the 2014 XTS Vsport will be available in August. Car and Driver reports that the Vsport model will start at $63,020, including delivery fees. The base 2014 XTS will have a starting price of $45,525, including destination.

Bagi anak-anak komunitas balap khususnya jakarta ....kalo melihat motor Yang satu ini kayanya udah ga asing lagi ....selain warnanya yang cerah dan menterng yang membuat motor ini dengan mudah di hafal ......ada lagi yang lebih penting......Apalagi kalo bukan karna track record yang bagus.....di mana lawan-lawannya bukan sekedar motor ecek-ecek/ayam......lawannya adalah motor-motor pilihan .....jawara-jawara dari daerahnya msing-masing....hampir dari semuanya telah di coba dan di asapin....

Hal itulah yang mengundang decak kagum dari bebabagai kalangan komunitas balap jakarta untuk bengkel Vocus....coba saja saksikan apabila motor ini sedang bertanding pasti penonton padat merayap......"seolah" motor ini menjadi figur motor tercepat dari jakarta...dan perlu diketahui untuk turun dikelas bebabasan di jakarta...bukan hanya butuh keberanian yang tinggi.....tapi juga sekill yang extra......disinilah kita bisa menilai Totalitas sebuah kualitas motor balap jakarta.....bukan sekedar mengumbar spek,rubahan extreem atau omong doang........pokonya street fighter ....

namun ternyata hal itu di bantah oleh bang Untung....Doi bilang kalo motornya ini tergolong biasa-biasa aja speknya....

Lebih cepat mana bore up atau stroke up untuk menaikan CC ?

Membicarakan hal ini sih penting ga penting ya hehehe....tapi sekiranya bisa untuk mengobati rasa penasaran dan pengetahuan kita bersama karna langkah Bore up atau Stroke up bukan lagi jadi bahasan yang spesial di kalangan komunitas balap....hal ini bisa di temukan di setiap tunggangan harian teman-teman...unutk itu IBLJ mencoba membahas sedikit masalah bore up dan stroke up....terutama maslah efesiensi kenaikan kapasitasnya bukan karakteristiknya...karna masalah karakteristiknya pernah di ulas di IBLJ sebelumnya...
namun maaf bahasan mungkin akan di buat sesederhana mungkin...maklum keterbatasan SDM...hehehe jadi di bahasnya ala jalanan aja deh....yang penting pointnya teman-teman dapet......yuk langsug aja kita buktikan...

CONTOH :
Ada 3 spek dasar mesin yang ingin kita coba 50mm ,60mm ,70mm, ke tiganya memiliki angka yg berbeda2 guna mengetahui selisih yang didapat secara keseluruhan dan membandingkan persentasi yang di dapat dari ke tiga spek mesin tsb

Rumus meng hitung CC /kapasitas silinder
(4/3,14 x b x b x s) / bisa juga dengan cara yang lain
ket :
b = bore
s = stroke

1. Jika spek standarnya adalah bore x stroke = 50mm x 50mm = 98 cc
    Mari kita hitung apabila setelah melakukan bore up dan stroke up sebesar 1mm
* Jika di Stroke up
    Bore x stroke = 50mm x 51mm = 100 cc
    (di dapat dari 4/3,14 x 5,0 x 5,0 x 5,1 = 100 ket : ukuran mm pada bore dan stroke di jadikan cm)
* jika di bore up
    Bore x stroke = 51mm x 50mm = 102 cc
    (di dapat dari 4/3,14 x 5,1 x 5,1 x 5,0 = 102   ket : ukuran mm pada bore dan stroke di jadikan cm )

Nah ketauan kan mana yang lebih besar kenaikannya dengan angka 1mm....mari kita jadikan % selisih dari kenaikan tersebut

Stroke up mengalami kenaikan dari 98cc menjadi 100cc atau naik 2% kapasitasnya
bore up mengalami kenaikan dari 98 cc menjadi 102cc atau naik 4% kapasitasnya

Kenaikan % ini harus kita uji lagi kebenaran apabila hal ini memang benar...dengan menggunakan angka dasar perhitungan spek yang berbeda....kalo tadi dari basik spek 50mm x 50mm coba sekarang dari 60 mm x 60mm.... apakah akan ada perbedaan angka % nya apabila angka basik speknya berbeda.....

2. Jika spek standarnya adalah bore x stroke = 60mm x 60mm = 169 cc
    Mari kita hitung apabila setelah melakukan bore up dan stroke up sebesar 1mm
* Jika di Stroke up
    Bore x stroke = 60mm x 61mm = 172 cc
    (di dapat dari 4/3,14 x 6,0 x 6,0 x 6,1 = 172 ket : ukuran mm pada bore dan stroke di jadikan cm)

* jika di bore up
    Bore x stroke = 61mm x 60mm = 175 cc
    (di dapat dari 4/3,14 x 6,1 x 6,1 x 6,0 = 175 ket : ukuran mm pada bore dan stroke di jadikan cm)

Stroke up mengalami kenaikan dari 169cc menjadi 172cc atau naik 2% kapasitasnya
bore up mengalami kenaikan dari 169 cc menjadi 175cc atau naik 3% kapasitasnya (pada bore up dengan basik sepk 61mm x 60mm mengalami penurunan 1 %) masi ragu kan...untuk itu lah IBLJ membandingkan denga 3 spek dasar sekali gus....NEXT

3. Jika spek standarnya adalah bore x stroke = 70mm x 70mm = 269 cc
    Mari kita hitung apabila setelah melakukan bore up dan stroke up sebesar 1mm

* Jika di Stroke up
    Bore x stroke = 70mm x 71mm = 274 cc
    (di dapat dari 4/3,14 x 6,0 x 6,0 x 6,1 = 274 ket : ukuran mm pada bore dan stroke di jadikan cm)

* jika di bore up
Bore x stroke = 71mm x 70mm = 277 cc
    (di dapat dari 4/3,14 x 7,1 x 7,1 x 7,0 = 277 ket : ukuran mm pada bore dan stroke di jadikan cm

Stroke up mengalami kenaikan dari 269cc menjadi 274cc atau naik 2% kapasitasnya
bore up mengalami kenaikan dari 269 cc menjadi 277cc atau naik 3% kapasitasnya (pada bore up dengan basik sepk 71mm x 70mm mengalami penurunan 1 % di bandimh dengan spek dasar yang pertama)

mungkin dari sini kita bisa mengambil kesimpulan sementara bahwa kenaikan kapasitas tidak bisa di patok dengan angka mati..... namun bisa kita gunakan anggka rata-rata.....
jadi dengan perhitungan di atas langkah Bore up adalah langkah tercepat untuk menaikan kapasitas
dengan selisih % per 1mm adalah :

Bore up dapat menaikan kapasitas sebanyak 3-4% (Dengan 1mm)
sedangkan struk up rata-rata 1,5 -2% (Dengan 1mm)

Mudah-mudahan dengan ulasan ini teman-teamn dapat memperhitungkan kembali mana yang lebih di perioritaskan bore up atau struk up ....dan mohon maaf bila ada kekeliruan dalam bahasan ini....

Ket : Untuk naik stroke 1mm yang di gunakan di sini adalah nilai totalnya yang di dapat dari 0,5x0,5=1mm

Mazda Unveils Redesigned 2014 Mazda3

Mazda officially introduced the all-new 2014 Mazda3 hatchback at a press event in New York today. The automaker says in a press release that the 2014 Mazda3 is completely redesigned, sharing almost nothing besides its name with the 2013 model.
“With more than 3.5 million vehicles sold globally, the Mazda3 is the brand’s best-selling and most recognizable nameplate, and its redesign for 2014 shows just how much attention to detail and care we put into this important vehicle,” says Jim O’Sullivan, president and CEO of Mazda North America Operations.

Compared with the outgoing Mazda3, the new hatchback has a longer wheelbase, but it’s also slightly shorter, lower and wider. Mazda says that the result is an interior that offers more shoulder room in both rows, as well as comparable headroom to the car it replaces. An all-new Active Driving Display also debuts in the 2014 Mazda3, which displays information like navigation directions and speed on a clear pop-up panel. Mazda says that its Active Driving Display keeps vehicle information within the driver’s line of sight, and that the panel folds into a hidden position when the car is turned off.
For 2014, the Mazda3 will continue to offer the Skyactiv-G 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, as well as the Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that’s currently available in the 2014 Mazda CX-5 and Mazda6. Mazda hasn’t provided fuel economy estimates for the redesigned Mazda3 yet, but the 2.0- and 2.5-liter engines will produce 155 and 184 horsepower, respectively. A six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission will be available.

The redesigned Mazda3 will have a new infotainment system, which Mazda says will come with Bluetooth, a USB port and an auxiliary input jack. The new system will also respond to voice commands and read emails and text messages through the speakers, as well as Twitter and Facebook updates. A Bose surround-sound stereo system and a navigation system will be optional.
The Mazda3 will also offer a number of new safety technologies for 2014, which Mazda calls i-Activsense features. These include automatic high beam control, which can automatically adjust your headlights for oncoming traffic and radar-based cruise control, which automatically adjusts the car’s speed based on the distance and speed of the car in front of it. Blind spot monitoring and lane departure and forward collision warning systems are also offered as i-Activsense features. Mazda’s Smart City Brake Support system will also be offered, which can automatically apply the brakes or increase breaking power at speeds less than 19 mph if an obstacle is detected.

Macam Keadaan Kondisi Busi Pada Kendaraan

Kondisi Busi pada Kendaraan - Ada beberapa Keadaan kondisi busi pada kendaraan yang dapat kita ketahui, untuk berjaga-jaga supaya tidak terjadi apa-apa pada saat Anda sedang membawa kendaraan Anda. nahhh peraturannya adalah tahu tanda tanda apa yang terjadi pada busi kita saat dalam kondisi kurang baik atau kondisi baik. untuk itu simaklah artikel ibawah ini untuk Kondisi dan tanda tanda keadaan busi kendaraan kita.?

1. Normal
Warna abu-abu merata atau merah bata dari ujung elektroda sampai selongsong busi. Kalau ada warna abu-abu muda, maka settingan karburator terlalu irit bensin.
Kalau ada warna gelap atau hitam pekat, maka setingan karburator terlalu boros bensin.
2. Busi Basah
Ujung busi basah, basahnya ini basah oli bukan bensin, maka ada yang bocor di mesin kita, bisa dari ring piston goyang, bos klep bocor atau oli mesin terlalu banyak hingga seal klep kalah/bocor. Oli ini ikut terbakar di ruang pembakaran mesin dan meninggalkan sisa basah oli. Biasanya pada motor 2-tak disebabkan karena terlalu banyaknya campuran oli samping.
3. Tertutup Kerak
Hal ini disebabkan karena kualitas bahan bakar yang kita pakai jelek, ada campuran kotoran, atau sudut pengapian yang terlalu maju, dan bisa jadi salah pilih jenis busi.
4. Rata dengan keramik
Ini artinya businya sudah terlalu sering diamplas jadi sudah abis, Gantilah dengan yang baru.
5. Cacat/Rusak
Artinya bensin yang kita pakai jelek sehingga terjadi gejala detonasi (nglitik) atau jarak elektroda busi terlalu jauh. Makanya beli bensin harus pilih-pilih, jangan asal cepat, nggak antri. Tapi jangan kira juga loh kalau di SPBU bensinnya bagus, ada juga SPBU yang nakal, nyampur bensin + minyak tanah. Coba sekali-kali cek kondisi bensin yang kita beli.
6. Penuh Bulu Putih
Ini artinya ada cairan radiator yang bocor dan ikut terbakar di ruang pembakaran mesin.
7. Meleleh
Ini artinya busi menyala sebelum waktunya disebabkan nilai oktan bensin yang terlalu jelek/rendah, derajat pengapian terlalu maju atau mesin terlalu panas.
8. Mengkilap
Busi basah karena sisa bensin yang tidak ikut terbakar, bukan oli. Ini artinya settingan karburator kurang pas, terlalu boros. Atau bisa juga salah pilih jenis busi, kurang dingin.
